CSNE's 2021 Performance Trials, held on September 11 & 12 at Silver City Canine Training Center, were a huge success! We had an entry of 90 for Saturday's Obedience Trial, compared to 52 entries in 2019. Sunday's Rally trial had an entry of 90 compared to 35 entries in 2019. The Novice Only obedience trial on Sunday had an entry of 31 compared to 15 in 2019.
Our own Cheryl Mandeville competed, along with three other Cavaliers from Southern CT. One of those dogs finished both their Rally Master and Rally Advanced Excellent titles. Cheryl's Monet was a big winner at the Rally Trial, she won all 3 of her classes (Master, Excellent B and Advanced B with scores of 99, 100 and 100. She also won High Combined and High Triple Q.)
The trials were a success due to the hard work of the show committee and stewards. They kept the rings running smoothly which helped create a well-run and enjoyable atmosphere. Many thanks to the Club members who volunteered their time:
Committee: Cheryl Mandeville, Carole Rapoport, Jana Rychlik & Tracie Laliberte.
Stewards: Rick Alexander, Gail Lefferts, Justine Marsh, Anne O'Reilly, Erin Seymour, Alison Zorba & Peggy Kenney.
The NQ raffle was once again a hit. On Saturday it was won by a long time competitor from Graduate Open. On Sunday it was won by a brand new Novice A team.
